As art therapists we are called to take on the roles of clinicians, artists, and researchers in our professional life. This multi-faceted approach assists us in containing the experiences of our clients in our clinical practice, while also deepening our work through our own art practice, response art and evidence-based research. The Ngee Ann Kongsi Library at LASALLE College of the Arts supports Singapore’s art therapy community in both educational and professional endeavors with its robust collection of books, periodicals, and digital resources. The collaborative exhibition between the Art Therapists’ Association Singapore (ATAS), LASALLE College of the Arts and the Ngee Ann Kongsi Library will culminate in the ‘holding space’ of the Ngee Ann Kongsi Library on Friday, 13th September 2019.

Call to Artistic Action
The Art Therapists’ Association (Singapore) would like to celebrate its continued efforts in supporting the community of art therapist practitioners and students with a ‘call to artistic action’.

We are extending an invitation to the art therapy community, including all locally-based practitioners holding an MA in Art Therapy, those living abroad who have received an MA in Art Therapy from LASALLE College of the Arts or are currently studying in the MAAT programme at LASALLE College of the Arts. Our goal is to organize and curate an exhibition that provides both the public and art community within the college a glimpse of our professional practice and identity as clinicians, artists, and researchers.

To be part of this exhibition, and to request for a box, please email contact@atas.org.sg

For more information, please read the instructions in the documents below.

Note: All boxes (artwork) must be submitted by
